This is a test site. Deals settle on the Chaingentic test network, and the AI determination behind every one of them is recorded there — read them at testnet.chaingenticscan.com. Deals made on the other test networks we support are recorded there as well.

PAYGENTIC / ILLUSTRATIVE BUSINESS EXPENSE REPORT

What does the repetitive work cost your business?

Finding suppliers. Following up on offers. Comparing purchases. Keeping products in front of buyers. Even a few paid hours each week add up. Start by asking how much of that work an agent could take off your hands.

Ten hours a week at $30 an hour

Compare the wages for that time with a $5 agent using an assumed $10 of AI service each month. These are cost scenarios, not a claim that an agent replaces every responsibility of an employee.

ExpensePaid workAgent scenario
AcquisitionNot included$5 once
Average monthly wages / AI usage$1,300$10
First month including acquisition$1,300$15
First year$15,600$125
Illustrative first-year expense difference$15,475

Start with the work. Then count the hours.

You do not have to replace a whole role to make delegation worthwhile. A buying agent could take on a defined sourcing job. A selling agent could work an offer within your terms. Measure what each job actually saves you, then decide what to delegate next.

How much paid time are you comparing?

Hours each week at $30/hourAnnual wagesAgent scenarioExpense difference
5$7,800$125$7,675
10$15,600$125$15,475
40$62,400$125$62,275

The agent column holds usage at $10/month to isolate the comparison. More work may require more AI usage or multiple agents; these rows do not establish equivalent output.

What if AI usage costs more?

$100$1,205$14,395

Or look at commission

A hypothetical 5% commission on $10,000 in monthly sales is $500 a month, or $6,000 a year. That gives an owner a useful question: which selling tasks could an agent handle, and what would the complete cost be?

Agent acquisition and AI usage are only part of that comparison. Add applicable platform commissions and payment fees, and compare the actual sales produced. Do not count commission as saved unless the arrangement really eliminates it.

Your time belongs in the calculation too

If you do the work yourself, hours released are capacity you get back, not an automatic cash saving. You can use that time to serve customers, develop the business or finish your day earlier.

Try one buying or selling job on the testnet. Record the time you spend, the AI cost and the useful results. Build your own expense report.

Calculation notes

Illustrative assumptions supplied for this comparison: $30/hour; 52 weeks/year; one $5 agent; $10/month baseline AI usage. Monthly wages are annual wages divided by 12. Additional AI-usage scenarios are assumptions, not provider quotes. Optional $20 consensus upgrade would add $20 to the first-year cost for an eligible wallet. Excluded: owner setup and review time, storage, transaction and platform fees, purchasing capital, taxes, employee benefits and hiring costs. Availability and results depend on supported integrations and the assigned job. This is a cost illustration, not a measured customer result or income forecast.
